1 Pomfret fish 1 kg (cleaned and dried)
2 White cumin powder 3 teaspoons
3 Turmeric powder 1 tsp
4 Garam masala powder 1 1/2 tsp
5 Tomatoes (chopped) 3 cups
6 Potatoes 1/2 kg (cut into large pieces)
7 Onion (cut into slices) 3-4 nos
8 Coriander 1 tsp
9 Green chillies 1 cup
10 Garlic, ginger paste 1 teaspoon
11 Basmati rice 1 cup
12 Oil 1 cup
13 Salt to taste
Step by Step Instructions – Preparation recipe
- 1Heat oil in a pan and add onions and brown them (grind tomatoes, green chillies, green coriander in a blender) when the onions turn golden brown, add the ground mixture and ginger, garlic paste after that. Add white cumin powder, turmeric powder, hot spice powder, salt and fry well.
- 2Make diagonal cuts on the fish with a knife
- 3After that, put the fish slices in the hot gravy cooked on low flame
- 4Cook for 3-4 minutes on both sides and remove.
- 5When the fish is fried in the spices, add water in another pan and boil the rice
- 6When there is one left, take a nap
