In order for the bunny buns to become fluffy and have a biscuit texture, all the ingredients must be at room temperature and the butter soft.

Put the JOTIS All-Purpose Flour and the JOTIS Baking Powder in a bowl, mix them and sift them.

Beat the soft butter with the sugar with the mixer for 4-5 minutes.

Add the vanilla, machete and egg while beating with the mixer.

Dissolve the soda in the orange juice and add them.

Having the mixer very low, little by little pour the flour with the baking powder.

From the time we add the flour, do not knead too much because they will harden.

Preheat the oven to 160 °C in the air.

Mix the ingredients for the egg solution.

To make the bunnies

With a small piece of dough 20 g. (the size of a walnut) form a wick and wrap it in a snail. This is how we build the body.

For the head, take a small amount of dough and shape it into a ball and stick it to the body. Form ears and a tail with small pieces of dough. Put a raisin for the eye.

When they are all shaped, spread them thinly on a baking tray lined with non-stick paper.

Brush with egg solution and bake in a preheated oven on the middle rack for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Leave on a wire rack to cool.

After they have cooled completely, keep them in an airtight container so that they remain fluffy and crunchy.
