The longan and wolfberry tea taught by my mother helps me sleep peacefully. I make this tea occasionally, drink every cup for two or three days, and the effect is good. Although this tea is not medicine, it is just for health care, relaxing and making it easy to fall asleep.

Dried longan, also known as longan (round meat), has the effect of nourishing blood and calming the nerves, helping to reduce insomnia and upset.

Lycium barbarum (wolfberry) can nourish the eyes and improve eyesight. Mother often tells Christine that she can bake a cup of wolfberry ball meat tea for a long time and drink it. It is beneficial to health and helps her sleep well.

Material:
  • 1 tablespoon of dried longan meat, about 8 pieces
  • 2 tsp wolfberries
  • 1 measuring cup of boiling water + extra for cleaning

Thermos Flask
practice:
  1. Wash the longan meat and wolfberries with clean water. Slightly scald with boiling water for the last time. Drain.
  2. Rinse the thermos with boiling water. Add longan meat and wolfberry. Pour in 1 measuring cup of boiling water. Cover well. Leave it aside for 3 hours before the flavor develops and you can drink it.

Kind tips:
  • You can drink this tea before going to bed, and it has obvious effects on sleeping. However, if you drink it before going to bed, you may have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet.
  • Mom’s home teaching method: Make wolfberry ball meat tea in the morning before going to work. You can drink it in the evening. I’ll sleep sweetly that night too. You can adjust the time you drink this tea according to your work and rest schedule.
