The creamy sauce is really easy to make and can be varied again and again with different ingredients. For today’s pasta with gorgonzola sauce is still coming Chicken, tomatoes, rocket and pine nuts in addition. The sauce base always remains the same and is made from these ingredients:
- Gorgonzola: A mild one goes into my sauce Gorgonzola Dolce. It has a slightly creamier taste than the intense one Gorgonzola picante. Gorgonzola dolce is great for sauces. You can always get good cheese directly at the cheese counter.
- Cream: I use cooking cream for my recipe. You can also replace the cream with milk.

My pasta with gorgonzola sauce is easy to prepare and perfect if you’re looking for a real comfort food. The dish is on the table in just 4 steps:
- Cook pasta: I put the noodles on first. Because while these are cooking, there is enough time to prepare the sauce.
- Prepare ingredients: For the sauce, I roast the pine nuts in a pan without any fat. All that’s left is tomatoes, chicken and gorgonzola, which are cut into pieces.
- Fry chicken: Before the sauce is prepared, the chicken pieces must first be fried so that they become nice and crispy on the outside.
- Prepare sauce: In the same pan in which the chicken was fried, add the remaining ingredients. In other words: let the tomatoes steam briefly and then add the cream with Gorgonzola. The cheese should melt while stirring. Finally, season the sauce with white wine, salt, pepper and fresh parsley. Then put the chicken back in the pan and serve with the noodles.
I always add some arugula to the plates. It just goes great with the spicy cheese.

Prepare the pasta according to the package instructions and roast the pine nuts in a pan without any fat. Quarter tomatoes. Cut the chicken breast fillet into bite-sized pieces. Cut the Gorgonzola into small pieces.
