You can find exact quantities in my recipe card below.
For the simple casserole, first pre-cook the potatoes. This means the casserole doesn’t have to bake in the oven for so long and the potatoes become nice and soft. Then peel the potatoes and cut them into slices.
Then chop the onion finely and slice the tomatoes. Fry the minced meat together with the onions in a little oil.
Now for the sauce, mix the cream cheese, crème fraîche, salt, pepper, parsley and eggs and layer the casserole in the casserole dish as follows:
- potatoes
- Tomatoes
- minced meat
- Cream cheese sauce
Bake everything in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then sprinkle with feta and bake for another 10 minutes.
You can also prepare the casserole at lunchtime and then just put it in the oven to bake in the evening.
