I’m a big sweet potato fan and like the power tubers best in combination with broccoli. And the best thing: my sweet potatoes with broccoli are prepared in the oven. It’s quick and easy, as you only need 10 minutes to prepare it. The oven will do the rest for you. The dish is easy to prepare and is perfect for meal prep. So definitely try it out!
Bake sweet potatoes and broccoli in the oven
The combination of sweet potatoes and broccoli not only looks incredibly colorful and pretty, it also tastes fantastic! All I’m saying is: soft and wonderfully flavorful sweet potatoes with crunchy broccoli. A dream!
You can simply enjoy the oven dish on its own, or combine it with rice and a delicious dip. Perfect for the lunch box or a quick after-work bowl.
Easy recipe for sweet potatoes with broccoli in the oven
Prepare vegetables
For my quick after-work recipe, the sweet potatoes are first peeled and diced into small pieces. Divide the broccoli into florets and chop a garlic clove.
Mix the marinade
Then mix a marinade with olive oil, garlic and spices. Mix the marinade with the vegetables and place everything on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake vegetables in the oven
The whole thing now goes into the oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes. Turn once during baking.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Peel and dice sweet potatoes. Divide broccoli into florets. Chop the garlic clove finely.
Mix olive oil with garlic, paprika, salt, pepper and oregano in a large bowl. Fold in the broccoli and sweet potatoes with your hands.
Spread everything on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven for 25 minutes. Turn once.
