Here is a recipe for blue crab linguine, a simple and tasty dish that is perfect for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends.

Ingredients

400 g linguine

400 g blue crab

1 clove of garlic

½ onion

10 cherry tomatoes

½ glass of white wine

Chopped fresh parsley

Extra virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper

Procedure

Clean the blue crabs, removing the claws, legs and gills.
Cut the crab body into small pieces.
Finely chop the garlic and onion.
In a large pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil and fry the garlic and onion.
Add the cherry tomatoes cut in half and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the blue crab and cook for 10 minutes, or until the crab is cooked through.
Pour in the white wine and let it evaporate.
Cook the linguine in boiling salted water according to the package directions.
Drain the linguine and sauté them in the pan with the sauce.
Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.

For a more intense flavour, you can add a pinch of chilli to the sauce.
If you prefer, you can replace the cherry tomatoes with peeled tomatoes.
For a lighter dish, you can steam or grill the blue crab.
